Photobox and Background Usage

As you might remember, I built a simple photobox recently, following the directions on Colored Dust's blog. I wish I had done this before, because you know, I spend hours and days to built and paint my miniatures; but at the end of the day, crappy photos are all I got. Moreover, the directions to build it are so easy and the materials are so cheap and available. I am including the photos of the photobox here to give you a rough idea of how big it is and how it looks.

When I was taking the first set of photos of the hobgoblins I finished recently within the photobox, I thought it would be a good idea to use some cool background image. I found an illustration, had it printed on an A3 paper to be used as a background; but I also took some photos on a white background to show the difference between two sets of photos.

So, now you will be the judge here. Should I be using background image or does white background do the job nicely?

Gradient blue background would be better, but this works mate.. but you need more lights to shine in there. Preferably from the sides at least. Good job on it though, and I might attempt to build one this weekend. If I can find a proper box to use here.
